Love My Love

SONG MEANING:
This is a song about the internal battle that goes on in any man’s head and heart when he is trying to love and serve a woman.
There are a handful of rules that all men need to follow. I wrote this song to remind me of these rules. Because I NEED reminding every day!
Here are some of the rules:
1.) Don’t make her earn your forgiveness.
2.) Don’t be reactionary.
3.) Don’t be a jerk.
4.) Love her unconditionally as best you can!
Here are a couple of the band members I hired from Nashville to play on this record. Kris Donegan on guitars and Steve Mackey on bass. Two very cool and extremely talented dudes.

Here’s what my version of this song chart looks like. Yes, yes… I realize this is not a traditional song chart and it certainly doesn’t follow the ‘Nashville Numbers’. But alas, it works for me. Some of you ‘real’ guitar players are probably wondering, “Why are you doing a Capo 4?” Well, the chords with no capo are NOT very fun to play!
