I’ll Go With You

SONG MEANING:
This song is about a friend, a leader or even God. Someone who is always there for you. Someone who, when you tell them you’re going through something very difficult in your life… their response to you is, “I’ll go with you!” They are willing to be by your side no matter what!
The genesis of this song started with me taking notes at church one Sunday. Leah and I were at the 11:00 am service at Midtown Fellowship in the 12 South neighborhood of Nashville, TN. The pastor was preaching on the story of the paralytic that was lowered through the roof in Mark Chapter 2.
The pastor went on to explain that even though Jesus has already died for us on the cross, he’s there with us during every step of every challenging situation. Jesus gave us the biggest gift that we could possibly imagine and yet he will still ‘Go With Us’ as we struggle through life’s ups and downs.
This is a song of celebration!
This is a photo of Niko Bolas with me in the background. Niko was the recording and mixing engineer on this project. I’m sharing this photo on this song page because Niko really had my back on this project. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in music and he still put his whole heart into this project.
